Robert Newhouse Friday

Imagine oneself to be Robert Newhouse,
Ball clutched squarely between symmetrical 4's,
Improbably short, massive legs furious in cerulean blue.

Before the collision
The sweet sharp smell
of summer grass.

Newhouse with the rock! Man, the image of that guy was burned into my young brain. Tree trunks for legs... I wonder if scouts would even look at a guy with his proportions nowadays? I miss these old school superstars.

You've inspired me to continue my search for vintage Nike posters. I'm on a hunt for World B. Free!
