Summertime Blues

Took a vacation to Saint Francisco's town in the state of California. I have become obsessed with Plants vs. Zombies. It's only $10 and will entertain you (in the way that a heroin coma "entertains you") for hours on end. Good for a summer fling--I like the idea of "casual" games. Here's an interview with one of the programmers for Pop Cap.

As long as it doesn't have a Thriller soundtrack. In a probably futile attempt to drive "Billie Jean" out of my head, I've been listening to it like, eighty times.

2 Facebook friends have recently posted about zombies having a cultural moment. I'm beginning to sketch out taxonomies and pop cult analysis. Maybe it's time for a conference.

This game is looking really good--based on those really cool shadow puppet shorts. Might be worth a play when it is released:

I also have become a slave of plants vs. Zombies. I didnt pay 10 dollars for it though. I like the michael jackson zombie so much that if he appears, i just HAVE to let him dance on through.
